When it comes to your student experience, we want to empower you to make the changes you want to see, so that all Exeter students can benefit. This article will show you some of the many ways you can have your say and how we use your feedback to ensure you have the best time at Exeter!
Survey Superheroes
Not all heroes wear capes! If you are selected for our Survey Superheroes programme, you will be giving your feedback via monthly surveys on a range of different topics. Your feedback will help shape Guild events, services and processes and you’ll receive a £5 voucher per survey!
Express Interest (deadline 29 September)
Advisory Boards
If you’d like to give more in-depth feedback and opinions, then our Advisory Boards are for you!
These boards bring together students with a particular interest or expertise to help guide our thinking and inform key projects. A great way to get involved with Guild decision making, you can also develop some great skills for your CV! If selected, you will be paid £30 for every meeting you attend.
This year, we have five different Advisory Boards:
1. Guild Accountability Board
2. Marketing Advisory Board
3. Wellbeing Service Board
4. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Advisory Board
5. International Students Advisory Board
Register Interest (deadline for Board 1 is 23 September, and for boards 2-5 is 29 September)
Priorities
Each year we ask as many students as possible what their priorities for the term are. We use this feedback to inform the work of your Guild, and your Officer team so that any action we take is led by students.
We’ll be launching our priorities survey (with prizes)mid-October, so look out for it!
Last year some of your priorities included living costs, health and wellbeing and events and activities.

Have your Say
For anything else which is on your mind, you can submit ideas, raise concerns, or give praise through our Have your Say form. We’ll take your feedback and use it as part of our overall insights programme to improve your student experience.
Campaigns
As a students’ union, we passionately believe in the power of student voices and action. We’ve been supporting Exeter students to make change for almost 70 years!
Are you ready to make change at Exeter? We’re ready to help you make it happen! Our campaigns team are ready to support you with your ideas for either an existing campaign or a brand new one! Last year we supported students with campaigns including affordable food on campus and funding for gender affirming products.
Academic Reps
For feedback relating to your course (including things like module content and assessments) you can give feedback to your Academic Reps! They work with departments and faculties across the University to continuously improve your academic experience.
It doesn’t stop there, we have many other ways you can get involved and make an impact on the experience of you and your fellow students including through societies, paid opportunities and communities. We’re here to support and empower you to be proud to be a part of our amazing Exeter community.
