Every February, we celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month! This year, we’re shining a light on the powerful stories of the LGBTQ+ community, aiming to build understanding, acceptance, and allyship across our campuses and within the Students' Guild.
The theme is year is activism and social change, and we'll be exploring this throughout the month. We’re excited to team up with the LGBTQ+ Society to bring you a variety of events and activities throughout the month — open to all LGBTQ+ students and their friends. Don’t miss out!
Raise awareness of LGBTQ+ history and the experience of LGBTQ+ students to increase allyship
Empower Exeter’s LGBTQ+ community to deliver events for their communities
Increase visibility and voice of Exeter’s LGBTQ+ students
Listening to students to inform LGBTQ+ anti-discrimination initiatives
We’re here to support you throughout your uni experience – whether that's to provide safe spaces, staff support or the resources to make an event or campaign come to life.
Here are some additional support networks for you to explore:
A society committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all LGBTQ+ students.
A society open to all students who are interested in taking an intersectional approach to the liberation of marginalised genders.
An inclusive, diverse group that seeks to create a safe space for anyone exploring Christianity or is deepening their faith.
We welcome all and aim to support anyone who self-identifies as part of our community.
